BRANDING PROJECT

Transition Bondi, a grassroot local community group, is part of a growing network of Transition Towns (and suburbs) around the world that derives from the global Transition Network. The mission of the Transition Network is, “Inspiring, connecting and supporting groups to build a localised, sustainable and just future.” The Transition Town movement holds these values: inclusiveness, justice, sharing of ideas and power, exploring, experimenting and learning, collaboration, respecting resource limits, building resilience and creative visioning.

TASKS & KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

As previous co-convenor and brand manager for Transition Bondi, I organised a streamlined filing system, enhancing document, photo, and marketing material accessibility for the team. I orchestrated diverse workshops and events, collaborating seamlessly to deliver engaging public programs. Designing successful Natural Dye Workshop curriculum with artist Nicole Larmarche led to four sold-out events and an invitation to lead a workshop at Randwick Royal Children’s Hospital.

Additionally, I facilitated a sold-out Native Bees propagation workshop alongside Permaculture Teacher Lance Lieber. Serving as a communication bridge, I ensured seamless coordination among stakeholders and managed the brand image, designing visual marketing materials. Collaboratively, we established the Transition Bondi Incorporated constitution and simplified public access to events through online listings.
