BRANDING PROJECT

Transition Bondi, a grassroot local community group, is part of a growing network of Transition Towns (and suburbs) around the world that derives from the global Transition Network. The mission of the Transition Network is, “Inspiring, connecting and supporting groups to build a localised, sustainable and just future.” The Transition Town movement holds these values: inclusiveness, justice, sharing of ideas and power, exploring, experimenting and learning, collaboration, respecting resource limits, building resilience and creative visioning.

TASKS & KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

As a former Co-Convenor and Brand Manager for Transition Bondi, I implemented a streamlined filing system, improving accessibility to documents, photos, and marketing materials for the team. I successfully organised diverse workshops and events, collaborating effectively to deliver engaging public programs. Notably, I designed the curriculum for a highly successful Natural Dye Workshop in partnership with artist Nicole Lamarche, which resulted in four sold-out events and an invitation to lead a workshop at Randwick Royal Children’s Hospital.

I also facilitated a sold-out Native Bees Propagation Workshop with Permaculture Teacher Lance Lieber. Acting as a communication bridge, I ensured smooth coordination among stakeholders while maintaining the organisation’s brand image through the creation of visual marketing materials. Additionally, I contributed to drafting the Transition Bondi Incorporated constitution and simplified public access to events through effective online listings.
