BRANDING PROJECT

Njuri Coffee deals direct with the farmers importing best quality freshly harvested Kenyan Coffee Beans from Mt. Kenya region to Australia. Coffee beans are roasted in Sydney then brewed with love and passion. Njuri not only making sure the quality of the coffee it delivery into the customers taste bud, but also everyone involves in that cup of coffee in customer’s hand is getting a fair share and happy.

TASKS & KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

As the Director and Co-founder of Njuri Pty Ltd, I played a pivotal role in establishing the company and its brand from the ground up. This involved conducting extensive research into the history, cultural narratives, and imagery of Kenyan and African coffee to shape the company’s identity and brand strategy. I meticulously designed the brand identity, including the logo, colour palette, supporting graphics, and both print and digital marketing collateral.

In collaboration with Marrickville Council and Settlement Services International (SSI), we organised and implemented a refugee barista training programme, fostering community engagement and skill development.

Additionally, Njuri imported coffee from Kenya for wholesale green coffee bean distribution in Australia and operated a coffee cart at Steel Park, Marrickville. The cart served coffee, snacks, and drinks, introducing the local market to a vibrant and authentic coffee experience.
